Transformers was lots of fun! About 2hr 30min worth. I love the way they made Optimus Prime more aggressive. Great story and good set up for a part 3. Decepticons are pretty bad ass in this one! Devastator rocked one of my favorites as a kid. Like I said, it's kinda long, but I really enjoyed it. Oddly enough my wife and I found that we were laughing quite a bit in this film too. I will buy when this one comes out.

Got done with "The Goods" last night.....disappointing, can't even remember if I chuckled once...Even the camera work was bad.

It has got to suck as a actor delivering your part only to have it butchered by a director or by someone in a editing room.....did anyone "enjoy" this movie????

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE - Dr. Heiter is a mad scientist...(he) surgically join(s) his victims by sewing together their mouths and anuses...all in a row...so the food goes in at the front and comes out at the rear...They will move on their hands and knees like an insect. I am required to award stars to movies I review...Thi...s time I refuse to do it. The star rating system is unsuited to this film...It is what it is and occupies a world where the stars don't shine. - Roger Ebert (Chicago Sun Times)

Looks like this thread got lost at one point.....

Haven't seen any decent movies in a long time....

I saw a Trailer for a Robot fighting movie..I think it is called Hard Steel w/ Hugh Jackman... As I watched it I would have swore it was gonna be called "Rock-um Sock-um Robots" Has the movie industry really run out of ideas?

Eddie Murphy is hosting the Oscars. He's been so aloof for so long and hasn't done stand-up style stuff since the 80s. This is something I have to see.

I just saw the Rockem Sockem Robots commercial, oh my god. Hugh Jackman sucks ass. I remember when I went to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and I was feeling really good so I decided to see another movie. That other movie was Van Hellsing. It ruined my whole experience.

Independent Film Chanel (IFC) has got my attention...

Watched a film with Andy Garcia, Modigliani....a great movie if you have a interest in Classic Artists...I studied this in College (Savannah College of Art and Design)....Garcia gave a incredible performance.

What was the name of the movie he was just finished when he was in studio with the guys?? I looked at the IMDB and they are listed per release date..not production date..When was he in studio??
found it...3-24-10...I may have to re-listen to that show to find out what the movie was...
Got it...City Island...says it is a comedy....it's got Alan Arkin in it....he did one of my all time favorite movies...The In-Laws

I was at Wal-Mart the other day and I saw that they have actually made a game, based on Real Steel, that is based on Rock'em Sock'em Robots.

Btw, the movie is out now, did anyone see it?

Sat back today and watched some old favorites....Worlds Fastest Indian, and Waking Ned Devine...Two great older Independent films, I would recommend them to anyone wanting to just enjoy a simple story with great characters.....
